Security has been tightened ahead of the trial of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, (IMN) leader, Mr Ibrahim El-zakzaky.
Ahead of the trial which is expected to commence today, Thursday morning, at the Kaduna State High Court, the Police has barricaded roads leading to the court.
The Shiite leader is being charged by the Kaduna State Government with alleged culpable homicide and breach of public peace among others.
Today’s trial follows clashes by his supporters on Wednesday, with members of the police during a protest to demand his release.
