The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim (APC, Kwara-South), has promised not to help President Muhammadu Buhari's ask for of N228,854,008,215 to fund the 2019 general decisions.
President Buhari had asked the National Assembly to vire N228,854,008,215 from the N9.12trillion 2018 spending plan, to support the 2019 general decision and other basic ventures.
Be that as it may, responding to the demand, the Senator told Punch, "I won't bolster it. I don't trust that. That isn't arranging. Since we held the last survey, the following decision time had been settled.
"Since we did the last race, we definitely knew when we should do the following race as the Electoral Act stipulates.
"We definitely realized that another legislature would be initiated on May 29, 2019."
