The Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hammed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun III has said that he will support the current Government with equal might and strength he has used to support the past administrations.
The monarch made this known while receiving the members of Osun Online and Association on a cutesy visit in his Palace on Sunday.
The monarch while speaking on his readiness to support the current Government in the state said a traditional ruler suppose to be a father for all irrespective of political parties, so it's his duty to support the Governor.
I'm a pro-establishment, I will support the present Government, with equal might and strength that I have used to support the past administrations. The support and loyalty that I have shown from Rauf Aregbesola’s administration to Adegboyega Oyetola’s tenure, I will use same to support the Adeleke’s administration, so they can succeed in the interest of our State”, he said.
He further urged other traditional rulers to be the father for all that they are enthroned to be, to give their full support to state government.
The monarch urged the journalists are other media personnel in the state to be professional in their reportage, to show undiluted support to the government of the state.
The Chairman of the association, Mr. Jare Tiamiyu in his own address appropriate the monarch for his love and support the media in the state and congratulate him on the just concluded Owu national convention.
Mr. Soji Omosebi, a member of the association also congratulates the monarch on his elevation to the post of deputy Chairman, Osun Traditional Council, says it is well deserved while describing the monarch as the architect of modern Owu.
